Lynden Christian High School

2017-2018

Here is a picture of my school. It’s called Lynden Christian High School.

I will be in 9th grade. 9th graders are also

called freshmen.

This is a calendar. It shows what day I get to

start my school. I might have times to visit

my school before I start, but this will be my

first day of school. Tuesday, August 29,

2017 will be my first day of school.

Here is my daily schedule. My teacher, Mrs.

Vander Kooi, will teach me how to read it.

These are my classes:

1st hour: Freshman Science

2nd hour: English (Reading & Writing)

Break

3rd hour: Christian Ethics (Bible)

4th hour: Math

Lunch/Break

5th hour: Tech Connections (Computers)

6th hour: PE (Gym)

7th hour: Guided Study (Study hall, planner)

This is a picture of the door I will usually go in when I come to school.

When I arrive at school, I should hang

up my backpack and coat in my locker

or Mrs. Vander Kooi’s room.

Here is a picture of my teacher. Her name is Mrs. Vander Kooi. She is happy to have me in class.

Here is a picture of the place where I might sit for part of the day. This is Mrs. Vander Kooi’s room.

(This is her room in the summer, it is getting cleaned now ☺ )

There will be other students in my class, too. I might know some of their names, and I might not know some of their names. That’s OK. We will all get to know each other because we are part of the same class. I could ask, “What is your name?” if I want to know. This is a picture of some of the students who might be in my class.

Sometimes we will be in my room, and

other times we will visit other rooms in

the school. Here are pictures of some

other teachers I might see.
