Jaarverbruik gemiddelde boerderij:- Ca 300 mutsaarden (oven + ander vuur)- Cijfer varieert van 240-400 mutsaarden- Inhoud houtmijt: 600-900/1000 mutsaarden- Eén bakbeurt per week- Aantal broden per bakbeurt: 10-12 tot 15-16- Aantal mutsaarden per bakbeurt: 3-5 mutsaarden- Gewicht van een brood: 1,5 – 2 kg
Jaarverbruik gemeente Lummen:-in 1846 waren er 502 boerderijen in Lummen- jaarverbruik van ca 150.000 mutsaarden;- na de winter was een voorraad van ca 500.000 mutsaarden
