SAPOS® Baden-Württemberg
What is SAPOS?
SAPOS® will enable highly accurate positioning in location and height.
SAPOS®, a joint project of the Working Committee of the Vermessungsverwaltungen of
the Länder (AdV), is based on a network of reference stations which permanently
process satellite signals of the Global Navigation Satellites Systems (GNSS) and
provide observation and/or correction data via data communication media.
SAPOS® is available all over Germany, uses internationally standardised formats and
offers you a high investment security owing to its official quality and more than 20
years of experience.
SAPOS® offers more than 270 reference stations in germany.
The federal state of Baden-Württemberg utilises 16 reference stations of its own and
19 further stations from neighbouring countries.

The coordinate determination occurs directly during the measuring process on site.
** Postprocessing:
Subsequent to the local measurement the coordinate determination is achieved by a later processing in your office

Before using SAPOS®-HEPS or GPPS, a registration is required:
• For a nationwide use contact the central office SAPOS®
(www.zentrale-stelle-sapos.de)
• For enabling in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg only

2.) At the end of the site use the link „Zur SAPOS-Registrierung“

There are two possibilities to use the SAPOS®-GPPS Data:
A.) RINEX-download
Download RINEX-data from a physical or an virtual reference station
(VRS) and evaluate the baselines on your own.
B.) Berechnungsdienst
Online processing service. After uploading your GNSS raw data in
RINEX format, the analysis will be performed automatically.

• a physical SAPOS® -reference station
• a virtual reference station (VRS) derived from SAPOS® -reference station
network
