• Live in tropical areas
• Also live in lowland rain forests
• Live where the temperature can go up to 90 degrees
• Central Africa
Daily Behaviors• Mostly spend their time
eating
• 99% of their diet are plants
Food and Water• Eat bamboo
• Love to eat black berries
• Eat snails and small insects
• Eat leaves and tree bark too
Family Structures• Both parents will take
care of their baby until it’s old enough to take care of its self
• Sometimes male gorillas choose to leave their troop
Interesting Facts• Male gorillas eat about forty
pounds a day
• Female gorillas only give birth to one baby at a time
• Male gorillas are stronger than six grown men together
