Consultant for an international nonprofit that supports a girls’ boarding school and
community health programs in Kenya. Trained the board and development director on best
practices in fund development. Set up fund development committees, policies, and

Manager of Development – Friends NC Museum of Natural Sciences – Raleigh, NC Managed all aspects of fund development for the Museum. Focused on major gift and annual
giving. Raised $150,000 for brand new programs. 2015
Director – The Johnston Health Foundation – Smithfield, NC Implemented all fundraising projects for hospital. Led and coordinated all board and
committee meetings. Implemented at least four fund development events a year. Developed
annual budget. Raised $1.2 million. 2012-2015
Unit Director - The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of St. Albans, WV Responsible for operations management and fundraising. This included: hiring and training
volunteers and staff, troubleshooting building repairs, budgeting, creating policies and
procedures, developing curriculum for the summer programs, evaluating outcomes, recording
data, giving presentations, increasing club membership, and working with parents. Raised

Donor Relations Coordinator - National MS Society - Charleston, WV Functioned as the high-end donor relations specialist for the West Virginia office. Worked
with a team of three people to implement three events that raised $1 million in two years.

Director - Angelspace - Eau Claire, WI Operations manager for the first home for the terminally ill in Eau Claire. 2008
Sexual Assault Victim Counselor- The Family Support Center – Eau Claire, WI Served as a counselor to victims of assault, support group facilitator, and marketing
coordinator for services provided to the community. Developed and implemented curriculum
in the Eau Claire school system, and collaborated with area professionals to create a response
team that responds more effectively to victims. 2007-2008
Vice President Marketing - Eimors Construction – Charleston, WV Developed brochures, portfolios, website design, and newsletter design. Managed the first St.
Jude Children’s Hospital Dream Home project that raised $500,000. 2006-2007
Managing Operator - The Soccer House – Hurricane, WV Operations manager responsible for creating programs for a facility that previously offered
programs during the winter season. Responsible for developing tournaments, leagues, camps,
and classes while managing the concession stand staff, referees, and sport staff. 2005-2006
Director - WV Women’s Commission – Charleston, WV Served as the state representative for women’s issues in the state of West Virginia.
Collaborated with state and federal appointed officials to create policies affecting the needs
