After considerable pushing and shoving, this configuration show some promise.

I have taken some liberties with the geometry and turned mounts inside-out from earlier versions.

Long Primary struts

Fold-Flat mounts on both sides

All mounts have 6 point mounts to the Optical element,3 point mounts to the structural element

The Yellow elements areEnvelopes that defineLoad paths and vertexes

When their positions settle down, real hardware will be inserted

Yellow Envelopes also define Fiducials and reference planes, the CAD equivalent of GSE( Ignore them )

This configuration allows us to tune the resonant frequency of the strut by adjusting the spacer height

No obvious interferences.

Plenty of room for FIDO electronicsclose to the detector.

Tuneable secondary structure

Room for FIDO radiator.

Thermal and kinematic isolation between Baffles, Spacecraft, and OTAseems doable

Really lousy interface between the ‘Candy box’ and the Primary bench

So………

Here it is in rough form.

My immediate question is:

Can these radical mounts be made to work ? Have I violated good-practice conventions, or overlooked something?

If this works for you, the next thing to do is to integrate it with the current Baffle, and the Current Secondary structure.
