ADOBE PREMIEREBY RORY HARRISON

OPENING PREMIERE

When opening Premiere, you must open a new project. If you were returning to a file however you can simply click the ‘Open Project’ icon. Like Photoshop, it has a simple layout, thus making it easy for me to access the program

NEXT..

The next screen shows where the file should be saved. Under the ‘scratch disk’ drop box, you must ensure that the document is saved in all of the same folders. Also, you must title your work.

MAIN SCREEN

This here is the main screen, it’s very easy to use, for example, to import media, just double click where it says too. I found the simplicity of the program very helpful as it was easy to work around and access a variety of different features.

TITLES We made a variety of titles in our final piece, we made these in after

effects then exported them into our trailer. Here we see how easy it is to add title into your final piece.

The titles we’ve used are very effective and work very well following the conventions/

For the beginning titles of the production company, we made in photoshop and exported it as a JPEG into our trailer.

Here you can see how to add a variety of different effects including changing the audio and video effects. This was needed to make the piece a more typical noir trailer.

Below also shows where the media goes to create the sequence.

VISUAL EFFECTS

Following on from the previous slide, the adjustments that can be made do enhance your piece. For example, we altered the colour correction on our piece to convey a more neo noir genre to the trailer.

AUDIO EFFECTS

More effects for audio including the volume of a sound track.
