THE HOUSE OF VINESA restoration/addition to a 1930’s farmhouse

Pretty as this picture, rather overgrown with vines

There are windows in there somewhere!

The aerial is coming down and those vines with it.

The front of the house faces north, a yard of trees.

A bit of trimming required I’d say.

Someone tried to invent an eavestrough that worked on the upper south end but the attempt made me giggle.

Things didn’t quite work out when the addition to the rear of the house was constructed.

This would be “ Oscar “ – used to bite but now he’s my elderly buddy.

Along the East side of the house – kitchen and bathroom windows.

Cooling unit

A later addition to be renovated and added to.

Dutch Hip roof – windows at the end face South.

The barn

The driveshed needs some upgrades to make it into a working garage.

Another storage shed – nice big doors and lots of room.

Very handy and near the house.

The hydro pole needs relocating.

Stairs to the front porch.

Ryan is going to clear some vines so we can measure for replacement windows.

East end of the front porch.

Original windows and wooden storms.

We’ll be making some changes here.

There is a bedroom window up there.

Dormer at the top of the stairs.

Kitchen window will be changed for something larger.

Septic tank access lids.

Main floor bathroom window.

This is where we start.
