Simchat TorahAs our Klezmer band plays, the Torah is unrolled around the room. Children march with flags, inside, stopping occassionally for Rabbi Ben and Mr. G to point out the important parts!

Schabbat: Class SevicesDuring the school year, each class gets the opportunity to write and help lead their own service.

SukkotThe entire patio becomes a sukkah and we eat a meal in it together.

On Sunday, the older kids teach the younger ones about the sukkah, the lulav, and the etrog.

HanukkahEveryone brings their menorah to the service and they are all lit together at the window. A beautiful sight!The Hanukkah family party is always a lot of fun!

PurimThe story of Esther is told in many creative ways, from puppet show to game show. There’s a lot of noise, and a lot of magnificent costumes.

PesachPassover is celebrated with a Congregational Seder on the second night and with a unique Model Seder for the school the Sunday before.

Almost 100 Or Amians came to clean up the city and do “deeds of loving kindness” – from building 300 Foster Care Kits TO cleaning school yards, cemeteries, and parks TO painting murals and passing out water and gas cards.
