TRANSCRIPT

Blended learning is a formal education program in which a student learns at least in part through online delivery of content and instruction with some element of student control over time, place, path or pace.

According to Roblyer and Doering (2013), blended learning or hybrid learning is a course that is a mixture of online and face-to-face delivery.

Transforms the way we teach.

Blended learning personalizes instruction.

Learning becomes engaging to students and they have the ability to learn in small groups and participate in more collaborative learning.

We can meet students where they are and they can learn at their own pace.

Students have the ability to move around and empower their skills set.

Does Blended Learning alter the learning environment?

Does Blended Learning require a shift in our thinking and mentality about the power of technology?

Do students have different learning styles?

With the blended learning approach students have the ability to critically think and propel their knowledge-base.

Do you think that DVCA students’ would be comfortable working in a blended and/or online learning environment? Are you comfortable? The U.S. Department of Education is considering the integration of blended instruction for over 50 million students across our nation are you ready?
