What can we obtain?• The users become involved in

developing the future library.• Acknowledgement of needs, known as

well as unknown.• Challenging the users to new

approaches.

BUT

it is not the users that drive the process - they are a part of it.

to show your respect for the hours contributed to the process by the participants.

►before planning it isessential to “ground”

• That everyone participates in the whole process – all meetings etc.

• That you all are clear on each other and the assignment.

• That you are clear on the role of each member of the team.

• That everyone is committed to project.

• That you establish a meeting culture, so that all are clear on status and what is next.

What did we become aware of?

• It only makes sense to implicate those who are willing.

• When we involve, we must listen and act.• The Organization must be inclusive.• User innovation can open up the library.• Involving can open up the users.• Users do not get involved for your sake, but for

issues they burn for – it must have relevance. • Personal relations are more valued than we

have been aware of.• It takes time – devote the time that is necessary.

always remember…

• Rome was not built in one day! • Begin on a scale, that you feel comfortable with.

What’s NEXT?

….. uncovering new potential in co-creation
