NEW LEAGUE - NEW TEAM
NSW Pride are one of seven new club identities fromAustralia’s major cities who will participate in the inaugural Hockey One League, unifying the state’s male and female teams under the same club name.
The NSW Pride will host three home-and-away matches at the Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre – nicknamed “The Lion’s Den” - with our male and female teams always playing double-headers, in a major win for fans.
The team’s colours and logo are predominantley inspired by the NSW flag, while the name Pride evokes a feeling of community, strength and fierceness.
NSW PRIDEHockey One is Australia’s newest national sporting league featuring the best players – men and women – competing for city teams in entertaining games played across Australia.
Loud, bold and fast, the League runs over a seven-week period after the AFL finishes and before the cricket starts. The League showcases the best of the best with players including our Kookaburras and Hockeyroos.
In exciting news for hockey fans, Kayo Sports, Australia’s multi-sport streaming service will broadcast every home-and-away game around the country, with the finals televised live on FOX SPORTS.
