THEOREM AND

DISTANCE FORMULA

Two sides that form the right angle are called the LEGS

The side opposite the right angle is called the HYPOTENUSE

RIGHT TRIANGLES

In a right triangle, the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the lengths of the legs.
