3d printing

created by>Rakesh kumar.m>Trinity college of engg&tech.> 2nd- Ece.

A process for making a physical object

from a three-dimensional digital model,

typically by laying down many successive

thin layers of a material.

This also called as additive manufacturing.

INTRODUCTION

HISTORY OF 3D PRINTING

History of 3d Printing 3D PRINTER-DESIGNER

This technology

developed by Charles

Hull in 1984. He

named the technique

as Stereo lithography

and obtained a patent

for the technique in

1986.

Current 3D Printing Technologies

Stereo lithography

Fig:2

In this process layers are added by curing photopolymers with ultraviolet light lasers. Hull defined the process as a "system for generating three-dimensional objects by creating a cross-sectional pattern of the object to be formed.

Fused deposition modeling

FDM begins with a

software process

which processes an

STL file (

stereolithography

file format).

Selective laser sintering

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an additive manufacturing technique that uses a laser as the power source to sinter powdered material (typically metal), aiming the laser automatically at points in space defined by a 3Dmodel, binding the material together to create a solid structure

Multi-jet modeling

Ink jet printing comes from the printer and plotter industry where the technique involves shooting tiny droplets of ink on paper to produce graphic images.

VARIOUS 3D- PRINTERS

Vedio of 3d technology

In Medical Field, Surgeons are using 3d

printing machines to print body parts.

3D printing allows artists to create objects

that would be incredibly difficult, costly, or

time intensive using traditional processes.

Advantages

Product formation is currently the main use

of 3D printing technology.

3D Saves Time and Cost: Creating complete models in a single

process using 3D printing has great benefits.

This innovative technology has been proven to save companies time, manpower and money.

Misusage of this technology by anti-social persons like terrorists causes great effect.

Unchecked production of dangerous items. imitations of size, raw material. Cost of printers

DISADVANTAGES

We can give life to our ideas from our desktop.

Not time consuming process. 3D printing can provide great savings on

assembly costs. 3D printing could even challenge mass

production method in the future.

CONCLUSION

THNKYOU ONE &ALL THANKYOU FOR THIS OPPURTUNITY
