COURSE DESCRIPTIONThis course will focus on clinical and hospital-based cardiac rhythm issues and other topics for both physicians and allied health staff.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS• Unique one day ECG course (first day)
• This course will cover practical ECG tips and develop skills to interpret ECG with clinical correlation
COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:• Recognize arrhythmias from ECG
session• Describe the current guidelines and
new strategies for treatment of atrial fibrillation
• Discuss early evaluation, acute management and referral options for arrhythmia
• Decide when to refer patients for primary prevention of sudden death
• Recognize patient population for primary prevention of sudden death

INTENDED AUDIENCEThis course offers sessions for all levels of professionals and is intended for general internists, hospitalists, family practitioners, and allied health staff participating in cardiac services.

A letter of confirmation will be sent upon receipt of payment and completed registration form. Please present the confirmation letter when checking in at the meeting registration desk.
CANCELLATION POLICY If you cancel your participation in this course, your registration fee, less a $75 administrative fee, will be refunded when written notification is received by Mayo School of CPD on or before November 21, 2013 (cme-jax@mayo.edu or fax#: (904) 956-3096). No refunds will be made after November 21, 2013. Canceled registrations are non-transferable.
