One penny equals one (1) cent.

One nickel equals five (5) cents.

One dime equals ten (10) cents.

One quarter equals twenty-five (25) cents.

One half dollar equals fifty (50) cents.

It takes 100 pennies (1x100=100)

Remember there are 100 cents in $1.00

It takes 20 nickels (5x20=100)

It takes 10 dimes (10x10=100)

It takes 4 quarters (25x4=100)
