What do you mean we are not done?
Please invite family and friends to participate in the Novena and to bring their prayer intentions to good Sainte Anne, the grandmother of our Lord!
We would like to welcome a new member to our
parish staff… Lennie Craig, who will be our new Communications
Coordinator for our
Windsor-Lake St. Clair Catholic Family of Parishes.
Let him introduce himself:
I’ve been a member of the Good Shepherd family since the days of St. Gregory the Great (17 years). I joined the communications team just over 3 years ago when it was in the early stages. I’ve been married to my wife Julie for 14 years and we have two sons, Brendan and Josh. I love all things technology and taking on this role I feel that I am able to use my skills to serve in a way I never thought possible. Lennie Craig
CCCB - The Canadian Catholic Conference of Bishops, in solidarity with
the Holy Father, Pope Francis’ proclamation of a
"Year of Saint Joseph" has invited us to celebrate an
Act of Entrustment to Saint Joseph on Thurs., 1 July 2021 (Canada Day). Our family of parishes will celebrate a
Mass in honour of Saint Joseph.
The Act of Entrustment is preceded by a Novena imploring St. Joseph's intercession for the welfare of the entire country, for the many needs of society, and to pray in particular for those who have died due to COVID-19. The Novena will began on Tuesday, 22 June and will end on Wednesday, 30 June.
Congratulations Steve & Joan Schell in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 3rd.
Our Deceased Please remember in prayer our deceased loved ones, especially Catherine Yanchula (wife of Frank Scarfone and daughter of Jim & Margaret Oswald). May they rest in peace and may the Lord send comfort and consolation to their families.
