    Dear Adventurers,

Un-Cruise Adventures introduces you to extraordinary experiences in wild and scenic places. As CEOand captain of the company, my time spent growing up on boats, living on boats, working on boatsand a world of travel adventures feed the Un-Cruise vision. A vision that is brought to life through theexpertise of our crew and office team who are just as passionate as I am about providing unconventionadventures and going beyond your expectations.

Providing true, meaningful travel, of course, requires a special relationshipone of mutual respect anappreciationwith one another, the wilderness, wildlife, and communities we encounter. It was in thspirit, and a resurgence of traditional Native values, that during the summer of 2013 I was adopted intan Alaskan Tlingit tribe. It was a humbling, life-giving event, but it also represents the heart within thexperiences we hope to share with you. After all, time is precious, and what we do with it matters.

Get comfortable as you turn through these pages and uncover what inspires the adventurer in you. Newadventures in 2014 include an Active Adventure featuring exploration in the Olympic Wilderness and thSan Juan Islands of Washington State; four unique Luxury Adventures in Mexicos Sea of Corts operatinyear-round; and Heritage Adventures sailing port-to-port full season in Alaska. Give us a call, visit ou

    The Un-Cruise StoryUnrushed. Uncrowded. Unbelievable.

What began in 1997 as yacht crui sing in Alaska, pioneered by American Safari Cruises, has evolved and flourished into a style of exploration we call Un-Cruise Adventuresunmatched, hands-on small group expeditions under the parent company of InnerSeaDiscoveries Alaska, Inc. Today, Un-Cruise Adventures offers several Styles of Adventure

to choose from: Active, Luxury, Heritage, and Chartereach offering an alternativeto traditional crui sing . Explore waters inaccessible to larger ships, step ashore in smallcommunities, and get up-close with wildlife.

Our mission is this:Provide our guests an enriching adventure travel experience and inspirean appreciation of local cultures and the natural world.

Small group travel is the heart of what we do. Our nimble yachts, expedition vessels, andreplica turn-of-the-century coastal steamer serve as your platform in Alaska, Mexicos Seaof Corts, the Hawaiian Islands, Columbia & Snake Rivers, and in the coastal waters of

Washington & Bri tish Columbia. Expert captains and guides lead you on adventurehikinginto forests and engaging in local communities; kayaking and skiff rides through serene

wilderness; exploring along shore and searching for wildlife. Our adventures are flex ibleand vary in order to limit impacts on fragile ecosystems. Filled with unspoiled encounters,

they focus on act ivi ties and excursions that complement the wilderness, wildlife, andculture of the places we visitto change the way you see the world.

Pass by hundreds of cascading waterfalls and someof the largest icebergs in all of Alaska, then reach theglaciers at the end of a winding fjord, and its sure tocure whatever ails you. Poetic in every sense of theword, the wilderness surrounding Tracy Arm and

Thomas Bay offer up some of the finest paddling, hiking, and legends in Southeast Alaska. Take it easyon a lush forest trail or intertidal shore walk, getdown and dirty in the muskeg and mud, or go bigon an 11-mile hike to a glacially-fed lake. Learn aboutKushtakamythical shape-shifting creaturesandsteer clear when exploring by kayak, paddle board,or skiffing along shore. Legends and lore continuewith totems and a sacred tribal house. The wildfe is everywhere, but in Frederick Sound and along

JUST THINK! SOME NIGHT THE STARS WILL GLEAMand you could be sitting inthe hot tub beneath them. Back at the turn of the century, author and poet Robert Servicedidnt have

To be sure, hed seen and heard plentygripping yarns of thewild Northwest and the pursuit of the muck called gold. Falling in love with their stories, he becamean armchair adventurer. Its time to pack your sense of adventure, and write your own.

Pam and I really enjoyed Baja. A few weeks prior to departure, I think my wife was having

second thoughts about the itinerary, but after the whale watching, she was hooked.

She said it was the best cruise we had ever been onwe have been on over 45.
