2014: the year of mobile device provisioning madness

Recent events suggest that 2014 will be the year that corporate IT departments will be overwhelmed by enterprise mobility adoption. That’s because they will likely be tasked with managing record numbers of BYOD users as well as corporate-liable technology upgrades. Such initiatives are involved, requiring tasks such as device provisioning, managing mobility policy agreement, controlling secure network access, safeguarding corporate data, monitoring device inventory and controlling costs – not to mention processing invoices and paying the carriers.
