Who needs/doesn’t need a visa? – Most countries do not require a visa– China, Russia, India: visa required – Ask Trip organizers!

How long does it take to get a visa? – Only one day!

Visa processing fee? – $45 (Money order or cash only, no credit card)

For those who are going on the Japan Trip : – In general, it’s cheaper to buy US-Japan roundtrip and Japan-

Korea roundtrip tickets instead of buying US-Japan-Korea-US multi-destination ticket

– Japan-Korea roundtrip: $300~400 (2 hr flight)

USA-KOREA roundtrip: $1400~1600 (NYC Incheon)– No direct flights from Boston. Direct flights from NY, LA, SF,

Atlanta, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Hawaii, and Alaska– Typically 16 ~ 17 hrs via NY, Chicago, Atlanta to Incheon– Best deals normally available 2 months in advance

How is the weather like in late May and early June?– It is one of the most beautiful time in Korea. The weather is

warm, 20-25 (68 – 77F). It seldom rains℃

What is average price level in Korea?– Slightly cheaper than Boston (e.g, avg. meal $8-20)– Mass transportation (esp. taxi) is relatively cheap and safe!– No tipping! What you see is what you pay!

I’m vegetarian. Will I have enough delicious food? – Yes! Korean cuisine offers a variety of vegetarian-friendly dishes,

including Kimchi, Bibimbab, rice cake, tofu-based dishes, and vegetable side dishes
