*unless firstname has less than 5 letters

If you forget your password…

Click on Forgot Password?

Enter Secret Password Answer:

An email will be sent with a temporary password - which you should copy and paste into the password field

To change your password…

•Click on the Admin tab on the left hand column

•Select your user ID from the dropdown menu

•Under Account Information select Click to change password

•Paste temporary password or type password into the old password field

•Type New Password

•Click “Set Password”

•You will receive an email notifying you that your password has been changed, but it will not contain your new pw.

After logging in you will see the bills that have been assigned to you, aka “My Bills”

To help you keep track of your progress….

Click on the arrow next to the bill number to show the assignment information.

If you select Edit You can check the box in order to help yourself keep track of bills you have reviewed.

If you select a bill from the My Bills Tab you will automatically be taken to the positions screen.

Bills: All Bills will give you a list of all the bills that the City is tracking in hearing date order.

Bills: Using the “Select a bill” drop-down menu you can find the bill in numerical order. House bills come before Senate bills.

Bills: Using the “Select a bill” drop-down menu you can also type in the bill number to find a bill more quickly. However, you must type the entire bill number (e.g. SB0054 instead of SB54).

Bill Detail: General Information about the bill (crossfile, sponsor, hearing date, title, status, prior introduction, etc…)

To Add or View an Assignment:

Users can now assign bills to others – please use this feature with care – only when you feel another agency should review a bill and they have not already been assigned.

•Go to Manage Assignment

•Select the Assignment Type from the drop down list (Fiscal, FYI, Position)

•Select the agency reviewer from the drop-down list and the agency and deadline should fill in automatically.

•Save

•They will be notified by email and it will say who made the assignment

Positions (Policy): If you are assigned a bill you should enter a position by the deadline.*

*Note, you can enter positions even if you have not been assigned the bill. Simply the select the bill you would like to take a position on and enter the position information.

To enter a position (you must select a bill first)

•Enter your agency

•Position you would like to take from the drop down menu (Monitor, No Position, Oppose, Support or Support w/amend)

•Check the box if you plan to submit testimony

•Select the format of the testimony from the drop-down menu (Both, In Concept, None, Verbal, or Written)

•If someone from your agency will be testifying live – please enter the person’s name.

•Comment: brief comments about your position (do not enter your testimony here!)

•Save

Attachments: You can add files (word, excel, ppt, pdf) as attachments to bills in 3 separate areas of the application: Positions, Fiscal Impacts & Attachments

You may only View Attachments using the Attachments Tab

Reports: Weekly Hearing Report and Reviewer Assigned Bills

Reports: Reviewer Assigned Bills – select a reviewer from list (smaller and easier to handle report than Weekly Hearing Report)
