Tap “Settings”

First tap “Mail, Contacts,

Calendars”

Second tap “Add Account…”

Tap “iCloud”

Tap “Get a Free Apple ID”

Scroll the wheels to select your

birthday

Enter your first and last name.

Tap “Get a free iCloud email

address”

If you use a current email address, you will be

required to enter a credit card later in your setup.

Enter a username for the new iCloud

email address.

Write down the new email address on your Account

Tracker

Tap “Create”

Type a password into both boxes.

Be sure to remember this

password

Tap the “Question” box to select a security question. Then

Tap the “Answer” box to enter the

answer.

You must enter 3 security

questions. **IMPORTANT**

You must remember these answers to reset your password in

the future!

You may type a second email

address here. It can help reset passwords or

retrieve a forgotten username.

You can set these updates to on or

off.

Now tap “Agree”

Tap “Agree” again

When the account is created you will see this screen.

**IMPORTANT**

Tap “OK” to allow iCloud to use the location of the

iPad.

This is the only way to locate a lost iPad!

**IMPORTANT**

Again, make sure the “Find My

iPad” option is enabled (green)

Return to your Home Screen. Tap “Mail” to access your new iCloud

email
