PleasejoinusforafulldayworkshopdevotedtotheInternetofThings.AtthiseventyouwillbeexposedtotalksthatdescribewhattheInternetofThingsisallabout,whyitisanimportantpartofthefuture,andwhattheimportantingredientsareforsuccessfulproductsandservicesintheIoTspace.ThetalkswillcoverthemanymanifestationsofIoT,it'simpactingonalmostallverticalsoftheUSandtheWorldEconomy,anditsrapidgrowthinadoptionandinfluence.ThetalkswillcovertheIoTlandscapeandidentifytrends,whotheplayersare,andwhattechnologiesareimportant.

ThelineupofspeakersincludesexpertsandpractitionerswhowilldiscusshowIoTisimportantintheirindustry,whattheyseeastheingredientsforsuccess,the

technicalandbusinesschallenges,andtheirviewsofhowtheInternetofThingsislikelytoevolve.InkeepingwiththethemeofthePHM2017conferencethefocuswillbeonissuesofsafety,security,andreliabilityandhowtheuseofcommonIoTinfrastructure-communications,computing,storage,dataandanalytics,andsystemsforremotecontrolofcriticalfunctions--contributetothevaluefromIoT

Duringthedaytherewillbetwomoderatedpaneldiscussions,withaudienceparticipation.Thefirstwillbedevotedtohighlightingthekeytechnical,business,andregulatoryconsiderationsforIoTdeployments.ThesecondwillbedevotedtoidentifyingconcreteactionsthatcouldspeedthedeploymentofIoTofferingsandmeetthechallengesofsafety,scale,andreliability.WhetheryouareanIoTenthusiast,aresearcher,amanager,atechnologist,astrategist,anadministrator,amarketer,orsomeoneworkingonIoTproductsandservices,youwillfindthisaninformativeday.Youwillhaveachancetonetworkwithyourpeersandwiththeexpertsthatarepartofthisworkshop.WealsohopethatyouwillgetachancetoparticipateandcontributetothediscussionandhavesomeofyourquestionsaboutIoTanswered.
