DEMO-Net (FP6 IST-NoE - 4 yrs (2 yrs left); MOMENTUM (eParticipation Action – 30 ms (started in Jan 2008)); The European eParticipation study (EC study – DTI – 12 ms (started in Jan 2008); PEP-NET (CIP Thematic Network in Local and Regional eParticipation - 30 ms).
PEP-NET Partners in 4 key projects – Ass. partner in Demo-NET; partner in MOMENTUM, Partner and External Experts in The European eParticipation Study).

Network of Excellence project funded under the European Commission's sixth framework programme: Information Society Technologies IST (FP6-2004-27219);
The project started 1 January 2006, will be funded for 4 years; The objective of DEMO-net is to strengthen scientific, technological and social research
excellence in eParticipation by integrating the research capacities of individuals and organisations spread across Europe.

MOMENTUM is a Specific Support Action project funded under the European Commission’s eParticipation programme (eParticipation 2007/1);
The project started 1 January 2008, will be funded for 30 months; The main contribution of the MOMENTUM project lies in a support action to create a
network of existing and new eParticipation projects funded by the EU in order to monitor, evaluate, consolidate and disseminate their results.

MOMENTUM will cover all aspects of the eParticipation projects, along 3 axes: Technology, Participative
Processes and Policy-Making
@ The European eParticipation study :
European eParticipation project starts on 01-01-2008 and finishes on 28-2-2009; To identify the legitimate and appropriate roles of eParticipation at European level and
the barriers to adoption; To map the state of play of eParticipation in the EU and Member States; To support dialogue and networking on eParticipation between the EC and key
stakeholders at local, regional, national and EU level; To explore the scope for broader diffusion of eParticipation in the EU; To make recommendations for EU level actions in the field of eParticipation.

@ PEP-NET - Pan European eParticipation Network:
PEP-NET (CIP Thematic Network in Local and Regional eParticipation - 30 ms); PEP-NET will be a European network of all stakeholders active in eParticipation; PEP-NET already includes public bodies, solution providers, citizen organizations,
researchers and scientists. PEP-NET network is open to all organizations willing & actively advancing the concept
and use of eParticipation in Europe.
