Number facts need to be rapid and accurate. Using our new Handwriting and Grammar book for the first term this year was exciting. Fine and Gross motor exercises will enhance our writing skills. From the Year 3, Year 4 and Year Classroom

Our English, History and Digital Technologies focus this term is all aligned on the topic of Australians on the Western Front. In English our class is already revising action verbs in grammar necessary to write a factual explanation. It is also essential that students understand “cause and effect” when thinking about and writing factual texts. In Digital Technologies, students are learning the skills necessary to effectively construct elements of a screen. Mrs Edwards’ French students are proceeding at an enthusiastic pace! We are confident of having the skills to send information about our school and students across to a school in Amiens, France, with the members of the Amiens History Association when they visit the Western Front battle fields for Anzac Day this year. Thank you
