OriginsHave you ever wondered where our laws and government came from?

In Philadelphia on May 14, 1787, our forefathers created the Constitution of the United States in Independence Hall that spelled out the formation of the new government of the newly independent United States that’s divided into three branches.

LegislativeThe first branch of government is the Legislative branch.

This branch creates the laws and contains 100 senators and 435 people in the House of Representatives.
