Continuous Support and Opportunities Created

Mask Making Initiative A tripartite agreement with Cipla Foundation and IICT for designing masks - Opportunity for 10 women from Handur SHG Nalagarh and 9 women from Lady Lions Group Surat – IICT approves the samples after quality check - 56115 masks already sold out of 63425 masks produced for both locations.

Ration Distribution Supported families, migrants and labourers with ration kits: -15,520 families - 80,000 lives in cities over 15 days of lockdown

-1,537 ration kits in 36 villages by Sorath Mahila, Kodinar

Livelihood Opportunities - 7,38,137 face masks made and sold by women

Updates from the field COVID RATH – RABRIYAWAS ACF Rabriyawas initiated a campaign called COVID RATH to increase awareness on COVID-19 and Vaccination. 5 Gram Panchayats were targeted covering 33 villages, 4 Public Health Centres, 1 Community Health Centre and 22 sub-centres. One day prior to the vaccination camps, this vehicle would travel into villages announcing about the vaccination and COVID-19. Pamphlets were also distributed to pregnant women to understand the severity of the virus and concern on vaccination.

DISTRIBUTION OF VACCINE CARRIER BOXES Vaccine Carrier Kits were provided to various locations so that health workers could reach remote locations and maximum number of beneficiaries could get vaccinated reaching 1472 villages of 5 locations. Till date, 204 vaccine carrier boxes have been provided.

CoviSAINIK Program

CoviSAINIK volunteering program was launched across locations targeting to train 10,000 volunteers. trained by ACF in partnership with KEM Hospital, Mumbai who will in turn train the CoviSAINIKs.

ACF launched a COVID-19 Volunteer Program for the community in order to offer a cadre of volunteers to the local administration & health system in ACF locations.

COVID-19 vaccinations in villages

Vaccination awareness was initiated in villages with 73 IEC materials, 8 videos and 23 new images distributed to all SPOCS & community members from January onwards. This included vaccination awareness with scientific information to address anxiety and myths based on govt. guidelines. Toolkit created and shared with frontline workers

ACFs approach in vaccination- • ACF conducted an awareness & input session for all ACF health workers and

employees • Focused on BCC awareness before vaccination and followed up post vaccination • Awareness campaign on vaccination across villages with announcements through

ACF ambulances and E-Rickshaws • Networking and awareness with PRI members • Setting up: Registration Desk, Building Pavilions, Drinking Water Stations, Seating

Areas at the centres • Buses and vehicles were provided to ply beneficiaries to the centres • Vaccination campaigns were also launched in collaboration with the District Health

department with mobile vans creating awareness across all villages

ACF has been assisting beneficiaries and the local government administration during the vaccination drive since January 2021.

Safe Home in Farakka An Isolation Centre with 30 Beds was set up in Farakka in collaboration with the Block Medical Department - 5 Oxygen cylinders procured and installed, medical infrastructure was provided including 24x7 - Ambulance connected to the nearest Block Hospital - Temperature, pulse oxygen saturation, breathing rate was daily monitored - Only for Asymptomatic and Mild Symptoms patients - Linkage with dedicated COVID-19 hospital for critical patients - 89 Patients were admitted to this Isolation Centre Till end of september.
