“Fashions fade, style is internal“- Yves st laurent. This quote best represents my view on fashion, I am a big lover of fashion and I am always up to

date with current trends, however my true passion lies with style. I am currently studying Fashion Brand Management at the University of Central Lancashire. Alongside this I have gained experi-

ence within the fashion industry by assisting local fashion shows and events which have been covered by ITV Fixers. I have also gained experience work-ing with a buyer for the brand Dickies who also is

a part owner in the online store Original Store.

Whilst working at Topshop I have gained many skills towards the industry of promoting fashion such as; knowledge into trends, the fast movement and

growth of current trends and marketing tactics to promote the brand. I have also had experience working as a visual merchandiser, where I have mer-

chandised products into colour stories which are relevant for the brands sea-sonal trends. This has given me an understanding of how products are placed to not only insure sales but to inspire the customer. On the shop floor my role

is fitting room specialist I enjoy this role as it gives me the opportunity to help customers when choosing an outfit. I often encourage customers to try

new and exciting clothing to enhance their style. When assisting a customer in an outfit choice the outcome I always hope for is for the customer to be happy

and feel comfortable while looking fabulous at the same time.

During my employment at Selfridges my main responsibilities were to in-sure a high level of customer service was delivered and maintained. This was achieved through making sure I was approachable and friendly at all times, dressed in a presentable and smart manner and to have a in-depth knowl-edge of products and brands available in the store. I also had the responsi-

bility of cashing up the master cashier desk which was one of two tills in the store.

Together as a group, you must firstly decide what "road trip" means to you, what is the look? Once our initial thoughts and

ideas have been put together we must then devise a photoshoot,

creating four to six strong edito-rial images portraying the prod-

ucts USP or ESP.You must focus on trends and the

idea that your images will tell a story at the same time keep-

ing the styling aspect of the shoot visible.

Aims:To gain a knowledge of trend and col-

our.To build team working skills and com-

municate effectively.To apply knowledge of trend predic-

tion.

You must work in group to develop a future trend from the give topic which

is sports wear. This trend will be for 2012 (2 years time), take into con-sideration any up and coming event

which might affect fashion trends. Af-ter the trend has been disscussed any varified you will create a photoshoot

with images that represent your trend this will be an indivdual photoshoot
