• He is a technology entrepreneur who has played a key role in the growth of e-commerce as the founder and CEO of Amazon.com, an online merchant of books and later of a wide variety of products.

Bezos started his business in Seattle.

In November 1994, He set up his office in a house with one car garage and recruited two software programmers.

Bezos also tried to secure financial backing for the company. In February 1995, Bezos’s father invested more than $ 1000,000 in exchange for stock in the business, his mother authorized another stock purchase worth $150,000.

On July 16, 1995, the amazon.com website went live with a bold tagline typed underneath its logo: ‘’EARTH’S BIGGEST BOOKSTORE”.

Amazon then connected with a company called Toys’’R’’Us but it did not contribute much to the company’s sales.

In 2007, On November 19, Amazon released the –Kindle-its first self-made product at a price of $399.

It isn’t easy to do what Jeff Bezos has done; he’s built an enterprise which has dedicated its every action to making the customer as happy as possible.

Amazon has made the customer feel important to them.
