Amazon2Magento Extension User Guide

About This Extension:

Amazon2Magento Extension allows to import products,pricing,description from "Amazon" to your (new) Magento Store.The extension reads out Amazon Seller store products and import the products in your Magento Store. The Extension is ready to import products into magento store based on particular seller store.

Features:

• Import Products from Amazon store.• Amazon products can be loaded from countries like USA, UK, Japan, France, Germany,

Canada, Spain etc.• Supports product mapping between amazon and magento store.• Avoids creating duplicate products,if product already exists in magento store it just updates the

product details.• Supports Category Mapping,If the product exists under particular category,after importing the

product into our magento store it will be stored under the same category.• Supports Product Variations,multiple choice drop-downs.

Installation:

Steps to install this extension

We recommend creating a backup of your site before installing any new extension,especially if itis a live site.

• Please make sure you’ve downloaded extension package compliant with your magento version.The Compliance information is stated in the package filename.Once you’ve downloaded and unzipped the archieve.

• Upload the contents of the module package to the Magento root folder.This will not overwrite the existing Magento folders or files,only the new contents will be added.

• After uploading is done, Log in your Magento administration panel to refresh cache by way go to System > Cache Management. Select all caches and take action “Refresh” then submit. You can check whether the module is enabled or not in Admin area.Go to System > Configuration, under configuration select “Advanced” >If the Module is Enabled You can see option “Enable” for“Mg_Amazon2Magento”.

UnInstallation:

In Admin area, go to System > Configuration, under Configuration select “Advanced” >Click on DisableModules Output and select “Disable” for “Mg_Amazon2Magento”.,and click Save Config button

Clear the store cache under System > Cache Management .

User Guidance

Steps to Import Products from Amazon to your magento store.

• To import the products firstly you must have “Amazon Marketplace API account” and “Amazon Product Advertise API Account”.

Note: Both(“Amazon Marketplace API account” and “Amazon Product Advertise API Account”) the accounts should be of same region (Ex:US).

Creating Amazon marketplace API Account:

• Go to https://developer.amazonservices.com/ Click on signup for MWS .If you don’t have Amazon MWS account ,click on “Register Now” to create the MWS account.

Creating Amazon Advertise API Account:

Step1: Go to https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/advertising/api/detail/main.html and click on “Sign Up Now” button.

The following screen appears

If you are New Customer ,enter your email address and select “I am a new customer” radio button,after that click on “Sign in using our secure server”.It will takes you to Registration Page.

Fill the required fields and click on “create account” button.After clicking on that button it will navigates to “Account Info” Page .Fill the all required fileds and click on “complete Registration” by accepting the Amazon License Aggrement.

On Successful Registration it will show you the following screen. Inorder to download products from Amazon we require “Aws Access Key” and “Aws Secret key”.To get those click on “Manage Your Account” link.

Under Access Identifiers click on “click here” link .

It will asks for relogin .

Since you are registered user ,enter your email address and click on “sign in using our secure server” button by selectin g “I am a returning user and my password is:” radio button.Now it will show you the Access credentials page

Click on Access Credentials link.It will display “Aws Access key” and “Aws Secret show”

Now we got “Aws Access key” and “Aws secret key”.

We also require amazon “Associate Tag”

Creating “Associate Tag”

• Go to https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/ and click on “join”

Since you are already logged in it will show you the following screen.

Clicking on “next” it will show you “Address suggestion” select the address and click on save button.

Fill the required fileds and click on “next” button.It will asks for “Identity Verification” .Enter your mobile number and click on “call now.After completing the verification click on finish button by accepting the aggrement.

It will show the ”Associate ID” .In the below screen “test05353-20” is the Associate Tag.

After getting “Aws access key”,“Aws secret key”and“Associate Tag”.Now open admin panel and set up those keys and import products from Amazon.

Importing Products from Amazon to magento Store

Step1:Login to Admin panel ,Go toAmazontomagento”Add Amazon marketplace Api account”.To get “Merchant Id,Access Key and Scret Key”, just signup for MWS api at 'https://developer.amazonservices.com/' with your amazon seller central account.(signup at specific country url Ex: for UK signup at 'https://developer.amazonservices.co.uk/')

After successfully adding Marketplace Api account.It will show you the following screen.

Step2: Go toAmazontomagento”Add Amazon Product advertise Api account”.Fill the “Aws Access key”,”Aws secret key” and “Associate tag”,which we got by creating Amazon Advertise API Account.

After successfully adding product advertise Api account.It will show you the following screen.

Step3: After adding both the accounts Go toAmazontomagentosettings .select your Mws account and Aws account from drop-down list.

Note : Both the accounts must be of same region(Ex:US).

Step4: Go toAmazontomagentoManage Reportlist.To see the existing reports click on”Refresh Reports” button.To create new report click on “Request New Report”.

Now you can add new report.

Select the “Report Type” from drop-down list and also select Start Date and End Date. And click on “save Item” button

New report has been generated (it shows status as “pending”) .To import the products using newly created report you need to wait for 45min because amazon takes upto 45min to complete the process. But you can also use the existing reports to import the products whose status is “Ready”

Step5:Now Go toAmazon2MagentoImport Products From Amazon.Select the “Request Type” from drop-down list and also select the” Requested Report” under that Request Type.After selecting those click on “download products” button.

After completing downloading of products click on import button to import products from Amazon to your magento store.

After successfully importing of products Go to CatalogManage Products.It will show you the newly imported product.

Product which has been imported from Amazon.

Product Mapping and Product Variations

Step1:Go toAmazontomagento Manage Amazon Products.

It shows all Mapping Products.To add new Mapping Product click on”Add New Mapping Product” button.

Under “Select Products” select the Product for which you want to map amazon product.(i.e it replaces the existing product with new amazon product).

Under Item Information tab ,”Enter your Amazon Product Id” and click on save button.

Now GotoAmazontomagentoImport Amazon Mapping Products.

After successfully importing of product go to Catalogmanage products and check the Product whose idis”161” It will be replaced with amazon product.

Now open the product in front end.

This extension also imports multichoice-drop downs and supports product variations.

Category Mapping

Step1:Go to AmazontomagentoManage MappingsCategories Mapping.

It shows list of Category mappings.To add new mapping click on “Add New Item” button.

Under Mapping Information Tab------ Enter the Mapping Name of your choice.

Under Select Amazon Categories Tab--- First you need to click on “Load amazon site categories”,after completion of loading select your amazon category from which you want to import your amazon product.(Here am selected amazon Book Category).

Under Display On Categories--- select your Magento store category to which you want to import your Amazon product(For Ex: Here am selected ApparelHoodies .It means Imported product from amazon “Book” category will be saved under Magento store “Hoodies” category.)

Click on “save Mapping” button to save mapping.

Step2:Now Go toAmazontomagentoImport Products from Amazon

Click on “Download Products” button after “Request Type” and “Requested Report” fron the drop-down list.

Click on Import Button to import downloaded products.

After Succesfully importing of products Go to CatalogManage Product to see the list of imported products from amazon

Now check whether the Amazon product is imported to ApparelHoodies category .Go to front end andcheck the product.

Importing Configurable Products

Step1: Go to catalogAttributesManage Attribute Sets

Here you can add new Attribute Set.To add new Attribute Set Click on “Add New Set”.

Create New Attribute Set by name “Amazon” and select “Default” from drop-down list and click on save button to save the Attribute set.

After saving the Attribute Set,Now you can create the “Groups”.

• Click on “Add New” to add new group.• After Creating the Group ,you can add attributes to that group. • To add the attributes to the group you just need to drag and drop the attribute on newly created

group.(You can add the attributes from “Unassigned Attributes” or any other existing groups)

Pop up will be shown Clicking on “Add new Button”.Enter your new group name and click on ok Button.

Here I have Created a new group “Select Options” and also I have added 2 attributes.One from “General “and another from “Unassigned Attributes” .Click on “Save Attribute Set ” to save the Attribute set.

Now the Attribute Set have been saved.

After Creating the Attribute Set ,now we need to manage the attributes and its values.

• Go to CatalogAttributesManage Attributes.It shows list of existing attributes.

• New Attribute can be created by clicking on “Add New Attributue” button.

Look at the Amazon Product it contains Size and Color Attributes.

Since in Amazon product it contains size and color .We have created new Group “SelectOptions” with color and shoe_size attributes.Now we need to edit those attribute values according to our requirement.

Click on “Color” Attribute to edit its values.

Now check the Amazon Product ,It contains 3 Colors .It means we have add those 3 colors values into our Color Attribute

After Clicking on Attribute, Click on “Manage label Options” from left bar.

Now Under ” Manage Options” Click on “Add Option” button to add New Value.Like wise we need to add3 colors as shown in the following screenshot.Click on “Save Attribute” button to save the Attribute.

Like wise click on shoe_size attribute.

Add the shoe sizes from amazon product into your Attribute.After adding click on “Save Attribute” to save the Attribute.

After completing creating Groups ,Attributes and editing of Attribute values.Now Go to AmazontoMagentoManage MappingsManage Attributemapping.

Click on “Add New Item ” button to add new Attribute mapping.

Here we require Attribute Id,Attribute Code ,Attribute Name,Amazon Attribute.Check the screenshots below it will show you where to find all these.

Attribute Name:It can be any name.

Attribute Id and Attribute Code:Go to catalogAttributesManage Attributes.

Hover your mouse on color Attribute ,it will show you some url .From that url you need to get Attribute Id.(for ex: From the screen shot Attribute Id is 272).Attribute code will be the first column value(for ex: From the screen shot Attribute code is color).

Amazon Attribute:Go to Amazon site and note down the Amazon Attribute values.

After entering all those details click save button to save the Attribute mapping.Similarly you need to do for shoe_size attribute.

Now go to AmanzontomagentoManage MappingsManage Amazon Products mapping.

Click on “Add New mapping Product” to add new mapping products.

Under “Select Products“ select the product for which you want to map amazon product.

Before clicking on “item Information” on left tab .go to amazon site and note down the product Id from url.

Under “Item Information” enter the Amazon Product id and click on save button.

After mapping the product go to AmazontomagentoManage MappingsImport Amazon Mapping Products.Now the Product will be imported.

On successfull downloading of product go to catalogManage Products .View the downloaded products.

Following Screen shot shows the set of Simple products associated with Configurable product.

Following screenshot shows the confihgurable product which is downloaded from Amazon.

Click on Edit link to view the product and its Associated products.

Following screenshot shows simple product.Diffrence between configurable and simple product is.. configutrable product contains Associated products where as simple product doesn’t contains any associated products.
