Pooh and the blocks in the back are plastic. You push down on Pooh and he talks. He says, Lets spell your name, can you find elephant Rabbit, can you find elephant Piglet, can you find elephant Kanga and more. You push down on the plastic blocks(which light up) and Pooh says the alphabet.Great item for the toddlers to learn with or for the Winnie the Pooh collector. Takes 3 AA batteries. On off switch on bottom. Pooh and blocks in back are attached to seat(removable). This is a played with item. Measures approx. 17" inches long, 12 1/2" inches wide and 11" inches to top of Pooh's head. Handle is approx. 12 1/2" inches long. Fully extended back to end of handle is approx. 28" inches
