Nomination Process

• Form a selection committee.

• Alert / inform districts in your zone or region.

• Encourage identifying outstanding alumni.

• Set submission deadline for the zone or region.

• Select a winner and send to Rotary International.

Important Information

• Nominations due to RI by 30 June 2014

• All living Foundation alumni are eligible

• Electronic submission is highly encouraged

• Contact candidate to inform them of his/her nomination and availability to speak at the RI Convention

• Each RRFC can nominate one candidate every year

• The candidate and his/her spouse will receive gratis airfare and hotel accommodations to attend the RI Convention

• Formally chartered by Rotary.

• Have an online presence through social media (e.g., Facebook).

• Promote the value of TRF alumni within Rotary.

• Completed a project as a group in the past year that impacted a community.

• Support Rotary’s mission and collaboration between Rotarians and members.

• Encourage nominations from districts.

• Select a winner and send to RI Headquarters.

• Any Rotarians / alumni can submit nomination to their RRFC.

• All RRFCs may submit one nomination to Rotary to be considered .

• Nominations need to be endorsed by RRFC.

• Nominations due to RI by 30 June 2014.

• Electronic submission is highly encouraged.

• Handwritten versions will not be accepted.
