The Audi Authorized Collision Repair Facility Program has been established to meet the

technological challenges inherent in Audi award-winning vehicles.

Highly specialized collision repair standards are required to maintain the high crash standards Audi engineered into

steel and high-tensile steel frame, body and chassis components. Each specialized collision repair facility is equipped

with Audi factory-recommended tools and equipment needed to perform high-tensile steel collision repairs. Intensive

training and certification at I-CAR® facilities help ensure the highest level of collision repair expertise.

With this combination of factory-authorized tools, equipment and trained technicians, Audi offers collision repair

shops the opportunity to join one of the fastest growing import automotive markets in North America.

Each Audi Authorized Collision Repair Facility is equipped with all of the Audi factory-recommended tools and

equipment to meet Audi Authorized Collision Repair Facility Program requirements.

A complete program of Audi authorized tools, equipment and training certification is available to collision repair

facilities in order for them to become Audi Authorized Collision Repair Facilities. Continuous technician support

provides updates on repair procedures and equipment use.

After the collision repair facility equipment installation, support from Audi continues, furnishing website training

updates and technical advice. During the repair, Audi will assist with parts procurement and provide technical repair

procedure advice, when necessary.

Resistance Inverter Spot Welder VAS 6545

Setting the welding parameters is carried out using simple, self-explanatory

symbols. The welding programs are for high- and higher-tensile panels, for

spot-weld-bonded connections and for galvanized panels. Individual storage

of welding parameters is possible. In addition, the system is suitable for

documentation and administration of work order details on A4 paper. Software

updates can be carried out using an SD card (upload). The material recognition

function is performed with a material test program. Current control and pressure

monitoring is provided. The welding process is monitored and the actual values

are shown in the display.

The C-arms can be exchanged by means of a quick positioning feature. The

C-arms can be opened via a folding catch, thereby enabling access to the body,

for example, behind profile sections.

The VAS 6530 Resistance Spot Welder is recommended for general body repairs on

vehicles with high- and ultra-high-tensile-strength steel panels, especially for workshops
