The Route Mapper helps you find alternative fueling stations along your entire route. the Add Station button and clicking on the icons of the stations where you would

like to stop.

• Obtain small, detailed maps for each step of the driving directions by choosing the

print option Text with Full Route and Segments.

• Convert the map and driving instructions back to their original appearances by clicking

the Show All Stops button .

• Download the map to your handheld computer by pressing the Palm button .

Alternative Fuel Station Locatorhttp://afdcmap.nrel.gov/locator/locatepane.asp

Choose a city and state, the type of fuel you’re seeking, and the mile radius you’re willing to travel. After a quick search of alternative fueling sites across the country, the Station Locator displays a map with details about each station that fits your search.

Site Features

• Select the Zoom-In button in the table to bring up a street map that shows the

station’s location.

• Click on the letter in the table’s Type of Access column to determine whether a station

is public, private, or has any access limitations.

• Obtain details—such as location, hours, and payment options—about each station on the

map by choosing the Identify button and clicking on a station icon .

• Click on the Print Table button for a list of directions that fits on one page.

Looking for a compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station in your area? Taking a trip and need to map out the locations of stations that offer propane (LPG)? Two Web-based tools—the Station Locator and the Route Mapper—can pin point and direct you to alternative fueling stations across the country… all with a few clicks. Both tools feature public and private refueling sites that offer LPG, E85, electricity, biodiesel, hydrogen, CNG, and lique-fied natural gas, so finding every type of alternative fuel available is easy.

A search of E85 stations within a 25-mile radius of Denver displays four stations that dispense E85.

The route between San Francisco and Sacramento offers several CNG stations.
