Modular Concept

The design follows the principle ofmodularity. This allows differentoptions with regard to overall length,excitation, cooler arrangements andaxis height.

Vibration Isolation

The decoupled construction of statorand casing limits the transmission ofthe core vibration, thereby achievingoptimum noise suppression.

Ease of transport

The generator can be fully assembledin the factory, thereby minimizingthe erection time on-site.

Compared to H2-cooled turbogenerators, TOPAIRgenerators offer thefollowing advantages:• Lower engineering complexity• No auxiliary units and piping• No H2/CO2 supply• Simpler and quicker
