THE DEVOTEESWe have 34 adult devotees and 27 children at the present. Our preaching is mainly by giving an example of living a Krishna conscious life with Sri Sri Panca-tattva and Srila Prabhupada in the center.

THE COWSWe have 8 cows and 4 oxen. 4 of the cows did not have calf yet. At most we had 33 cows and oxen.

ALMOST ALL GRHASTAS GROW SOME VEGETABLES.

BAKERYSrivatsa mataji has been baking bread since 15 years. She sells it to ordinary shops also. Her bread is well known in our area.

ATELJÉ Janmanalaya prabhu is a Prabhupada disciple who is painting on stone slabs extremely realistic nature motives. Here with some visitors.He has also painted quite some Krishna conscious picures and he hopes he will have time for more of that in the future.

SECOND HAND.

Recently selling off second hand goods has been a good way to attract neighbours and others.

MUKUNDA PRABHU HAS BEEN DOING SCHOOLPROGRAMS THE LAST 25 YEARS AND HE IS MAINTAINING HIS FAMILY WITH THIS.

SAWMILL.A sawmill which can supply building material of all sorts. Yogindra prabhu a Prabhupada disciple knows how to handle it.

BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS.Almvik is situated near a lake and surrounded by fields for agriculture and forrests. It’s 9 kilometres to the nearest town Järna.

NATARAJA PRABHU AND TRIBANGASUNDARA PRABHU HAVE EACH A COMSTRUCTION COMPANY

Present assets in terms of sustainability:

1. An economical structure where every family has it’s own economy and everybody shares common expenses. Every adult is paying 1150 SEK/month

There is a certain freedom for the grhastas which they need and appreciate.

2. 20 ha cultivating land = 49 acres3. 100 ha forest = 247 acres Building material and firewood4. Cows and oxen5. A big barn, places for 35 cows 6. A sawmill7. Sewage ponds 8. Rootcellar9. Almvik is payed

Future plans for sustainability

1. We are applying for having a state supported school again

2. Increase the growing of vegetables3. Wind power for electricity?4. Better fireplace5. Better insulation in the big building6. More houses for families to move into

OBSTACLES

1. If we do not get permission for the school

2. Lacking manpower and funds to improve things

3. Weak sadhana, temple program not well attended
