The entries to FIS Nordic Combined World Cup must be done via FIS on-line system at member section at www.fis-ski.com

Preliminary entries 6 weeks before by latest 1 January 2013

Final entries according to World Cup Rules

Late entries can unfortunately not be able guarantee all services (such as accommodation and transportation) according to Rules.

ACCOMMODATION

All teams will be accommodated in the hotel “Baganashil”, Almaty (approx. 1km from the International Complex of Ski Jumping Hills). www.baganashil.kz.

All comers over the quota have to pay CHF 100 per person per night for full pension in double room and CHF 125 in single room, same prices for early/late accommodation. All officials will be accommodated in the hotel ALMA-ATA(approx. 5 km from the International Complex of Ski Jumping Hills). www.hotel-alma-ata.com.

TRANSPORTATIONThe Organizing Committee will arrange transportation between the airport and hotels. For this, teams have to send the exact arrival times, flight numbers and number of arriving people at latest 10 days before the event via FIS Online Entry system

RESPONSIBILITYEach competitor must be insured by his own Ski Association and must have signed the Athletes Declaration. The Organizers have coverage for their own third liability only.

FINANCESFinancial conditions apply as stated in the FIS WC NC rules. All travel and accommodation costs will be settled in the finance office with the Team Captain’s Meeting on Thursday, February the 7th

ACCREDITATIONTeams will be provided by accreditation cards in Race office upon arrival.

VISA INFORMATION

Citizens of Russia, the Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Moldova do not need visas to the Republic of Kazakhstan. All other citizens require a visa.

Please note that visa procedures may take up to 20 days. Make sure that you provide all the required documents in due time. The LOC of Almaty will have special visa arrangement with the Ministry of Home Affairs, and visas will be received at the Almaty airport on arrival.

List of required documents that need to be sent to the LOC official address (skikz@hotmail.com) as soon as possible (we strongly advice to send names and documents for all those who might be coming to Almaty for the event as invitations are issued for each individually): - Scan of a passport (page with personal details and photo) valid no less than 6 month ahead of your planned visit to Kazakhstan - If you have ever been to Kazakhstan before, please provide scan of the page/pages with entry & departure stamps from the immigration. On receiving these, all team members will be provided with invitation, issued andregistered by the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Each of you have to print it out and provide to the consular Section on arrival to Almaty airport, together with your passport (no IDs accepted), 1 passport photo (no older then 3 months) and 2 filled forms (one immigration registration form to be picked up and filled at the airport on arrival and 1 application form – issued at Consular Section at the airport.

The immigration registration form picked-up, filled-in and stamped on arrival at the airport cannot in any circumstances be lost, and shall be presented to the immigration on departure. Please note that receiving visa on arrival at the airport is not possible if all the above mentioned documents and criteria have not been provided and met.

According to legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, each foreign visitor, whose period of staying in our country more then 5 calendar days, is obliged to obtain certificate of temporary registration. The certificate is issued by Department of Foreign Affairs Ministry in Almaty. Cost of this procedure is 23 EURO per person. In this regards, we kindly ask you to take this amount into account if your stay is exceed 5 calendar days.

INSURANCE

All athletes need insurance arrange by their National ski Associations. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for any injuries of the athletes neither for damage or lost property.
