An industrial winery production facility for 19 grape growers and 1 winemaker. The industrial production facility has since been purchased by Diamond Estates Wine and Spirits. The production facility is the largest in the Niagara region and involved careful co-ordination with Civil, Grading, Electrical and Mechanical engineers.

A 2 storey contemporary addition to the existing production facility along Highway 55 leading into Niagara-on-the-Lake. A Canadianna theme was incorporated along with the juxtapositioning of the Diamond shape in the parking areas as well as the entrance lobby. Undulating roof lines peak with heavy timber supports and cascade into a heavy stone veneer. Openings in the stone provide reliefand glimpses into the bottling facilities as well as the retail areas.

1499 Line 3, Niagara Prkwy, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

The world renowned winery and vineyard received an expansion and renovation to the existing turn of the century Frank Lloyd Wright inspired Brae Barn. The conversion consisted of approximately 500 square feet of retail and tasting area and 500 square feet of administrative and office areas. Careful linear punched windows were introduced into the board and batten enclosure. Stone chimneys were introduced to add height and prominence to the new private tasting area.

3955 Cherry Avenue, Vineland, ON

A storage and wine production warehouse for a family-owned and operated estate winery situated on the lower slopes of the Niagara Escarpment uniting traditional winemaking techniques with state-of-the-art technology. Fruit is harvested from old-growth, low-yield vines and handled using natural gravity flow and litosphere geothermic energy. The warehouse will contain a climate controlled barrel cellar, bottling line, administrative and lab areas, and warehousing.

Waupoos Estates Winery is set amidst picturesque vineyards that gently slope towards the scenic shores of Prince Edward Bay. Local stones anchor the doorway as well as the edges of the retail entrance. A semi-circular clerestory frames and softens the roof lines at the entrance door. A lakeside terrace gazebo provides a delectable dining experience separate to the retail building.
