Our Facility runs steady every weekend with tournaments and our beloved Allan Flames playing on most Saturday nights. In order to keep our facility operating we largely depend on the revenues generated from the kitchen. That being said we greatly appreciate the time that our volun-teers spend serving up the tasty rink food that our kitchen has to offer. We have a couple of tablets and gift cards to give away to our volunteers as a thank you for your support. In order to get your name into the draw all you have to do is sign up and work a 4 hour shift. Please give me a call if you are available to work any weekend from now until the middle of March. For each shift you work, 1 draw ballot is entered. The more you volunteer the more chances to win! 306.257.7799

Important News from the Town Office Coyotes have been seen in and around Allan. Council is working on options to solve this problem, but, for the time be-ing, please be aware that coyotes may be in the area. Reservoir Project Update Due to some difficulty in sourcing materials for our project, this is being delayed until late March. The project will result in two separate precautionary drinking water advisories. The first should be fairly normal and cleared as per usual. The second one will be while they update the feeder line to the Town, this work has been estimated at from 2 days to 2 weeks, followed by the advisory testing. So, be prepared for having an advisory extend much longer than average. The Town is going to be using a new voice messaging service. Messages from this service will be clearly identified as being from the Town of Allan. We plan to give you
1. Forewarning of the advisory, 2. Warning of the actual advisory start 3. Lifting of the advisory
through this service for both of the planned maintenance advisories. As well we will do the usual signs and Facebook postings for these events. This is a big project to keep our water safe for decades to come. Thank you for your patience as we proceed with this important upgrade. Pet Licenses Pet licenses were due by February 1, 2018. Anyone who hasn’t purchased their license is advised to do so as soon as possible. The list will be given to the Bylaw Enforcement Officer when he comes through in March.
