Important News from the Town Office Coyotes have been seen in and around Allan. Council is working on options to solve this problem, but, for the time be-ing, please be aware that coyotes may be in the area. Reservoir Project Update Due to some difficulty in sourcing materials for our project, this is being delayed until late March. The project will result in two separate precautionary drinking water advisories. The first should be fairly normal and cleared as per usual. The second one will be while they update the feeder line to the Town, this work has been estimated at from 2 days to 2 weeks, followed by the advisory testing. So, be prepared for having an advisory extend much longer than average. The Town is going to be using a new voice messaging service. Messages from this service will be clearly identified as being from the Town of Allan. We plan to give you

1. Forewarning of the advisory, 2. Warning of the actual advisory start 3. Lifting of the advisory

through this service for both of the planned maintenance advisories. As well we will do the usual signs and Facebook postings for these events. This is a big project to keep our water safe for decades to come. Thank you for your patience as we proceed with this important upgrade. Pet Licenses Pet licenses were due by February 1, 2018. Anyone who hasn’t purchased their license is advised to do so as soon as possible. The list will be given to the Bylaw Enforcement Officer when he comes through in March.

2. Another office building display will include a grad dress display made up of

dresses and photos up until the year 2000.

3. The house building display will includes baby until 2 year old items. Items needed

are photographs and baby paraphernalia including clothing dishes, toys etc. up

until the year 2000.

4. In the kitchen we are planning a kitchen place setting of china and silverware.

The items for the grad dress and baby display must have belonged to someone who

lived in the Allan community for some point in their life.
