HYGIENE STANDARDS IN OUR BRANCHES

• Making available alcohol-based hand sanitiser at the entrances to our premises for both clients and employees.

• Organising shifts in xed working groups, so that the same group of people are always on duty together.

• Limiting the number of people in shared spaces to ensure a 2 metre distance between employees. If social distancing cannot be guaran-teed, areas will be used by one person only.

• Using, where possible, the same equipment and work tools. When this is not possible, they will be clea-ned before and after every use by each employee.

• Providing waste baskets, preferably with pedal operated lid, for the disposal of tissues and other dispo-sable materials. These waste baskets must be cleaned frequently and at least once a day.

• Keeping the doors of the dierent areas open and the lights turned on.

• Limiting the maximum number of people on-site to ensure social distancing between clients. Compl-ying with the extraordinary measu-res established by the health autho-rities.

• Bathrooms in our establishments will not be open to clients, unless strictly necessary. In this case, bathroom xtures, taps, and door

handles will be cleaned immediately.• Restricting access by suppliers/tech-

nical personnel, etc.• Establishments must clearly signal

the two metre social distancing rule between clients through markings on the oor or the use of markers.

• Ventilation activities must be carried out regularly in our facilities, at least once every day for a period of at least ve minutes. In any case, clea-ning and maintenance of air lters will have to be heightened and the level of ventilation provided by air-conditioning systems increased to ensure a higher air change rate.

What we are doing as an organisation:

• Maintain social distancing between the counter and other clients.

• Do not approach the counter area until called by the sta member.

• Do not enter the centre and other areas until centre personnel tell you to do so.

• Maintain breathing etiquette: If you

cough or sneeze cover your nose and mouth with disposable tissues or cover your face with your arm (bend of elbow) if you do not have disposa-ble tissues. Do not keep used tissues, dispose of them in a bin.

• Do not greet people by kissing them on the cheeks and do not shake

hands.• Try to pay by card or mobile, rather

than in cash. For cash payments, the client must place the money on the counter so that sta can pick it up whilst maintaining social distancing at all times. Hands must be duly disinfected after each client.

For the client:

• Avoid close contact with people by maintaining a distance of at least 2 metres.

• Use, where possible, the same equip-ment and work tools. When this is not possible, they will be cleaned before and after every use.

• Employees must remain in their work areas and not move to other work areas or through areas which they must not enter.

• The distance between employee and client throughout the whole custo-

mer service process will be at least 1 metre when there are protective items or barriers in place or approxi-mately 2 metres if these elements are not present.

• Using gloves and FFP2 masks will be compulsory when social distancing of approximately two metres between the client and employees cannot be guaranteed.

• All items that may contain infectious biological agents that are dicult to clean must be isolated.

• When handling paper, money, pens, etc. gloves must be used to avoid contact with possible germs.

• Card and mobile payments are to be favoured over cash payments. For cash payments, the client must place the money on the till/counter so that sta can pick it up whilst maintaining social distancing at all times. Hands must be duly disinfected after each client.

Although hygiene and safety measu-res (using a mask, social distancing, and handwashing) are compulsory in all centres for everyone, IBACAR will adapt, as far as possible, to the mea-sures in place at each and every hotel where it provides its service. The me-asures we are going to implement include:

• Promoting remote services by using online, telephone, email, WhatsApp,

the Ibacar App, and other platforms for check-in & out, contract signing, and handling enquiries.

• Strengthening our paperless policy: reducing the use of paper by repla-cing it with digital methods.

• Providing disposable gloves and disinfectant cloths to all clients.

• Key collection will use sealed envelo-pes to ensure the keys remain disin-fected.

• When picking up cars in person, clients will be reminded of the importance of following the time stipulated in the booking to avoid large numbers of employees and clients gathering.

HYGIENE AND SAFETY MEASURES FOR HOTEL PICK-UPS

If the passenger has passed all measu-res established by the International Air Transport Association, the client will be directed to the airport meeting

point and the car hire will be conclu-ded following the protocol for hotels and oces.t

AIRPORT AND PORT PICK-UPS:

If a positive case of COVID-19 is detected, the vehicle will immediately be withdrawn for a thorough

disinfection and everyone who has subsequently been in contact with it will be notified.

• Self-measuring of body temperature every day, before travelling to the workplace at the start of the day.

• A combination of all preventive mea-sures will be used, not solely Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Appl-ying a combination of monitoring measures can provide an extra level of protection.

• Training: Employees will receive information and training on the potential health risks caused by exposure to COVID-19, the precau-tionary measures to take to prevent

exposure, the personal hygiene mea-sures to be increased, warning signs and symptoms, and the compulsory use of PPE.

• Uniforms and work clothes will be washed and disinfected daily, where applicable. This will require machine washing in 60 to 90° C cycles.

If you display any symptoms of CO-VID-19 (fever, cough, and short-ness of breath) you must:

• Remain calm.• Employees must self-isolate at home

to prevent the virus spreading to other people and fully follow all hygiene measures.

• Inform the company of this situation and the date of the rst symptoms in order to facilitate contact tracing.

• Contact the telephone number pro-vided for this purpose by each Auto-nomous Community urgently.
