    About EduExcellence Educational Society

    2

    EduExcellence was started by a group of IITians in December

    2008, with a desire to contribute to the eld of education by

    introducing a new culture of constant learning. Today we have

    access to education practices being followed on various conti-

    nents and have touched the lives of more than 1500 school

    principals and hundreds of teachers.

    EduExcellence evaluates the best of the practices from all over

    the world, studies their scope of implementation in Indian

    scenarios and helps in executing them by bringing the right

    kind of expertise. Our board comprises of Professors from IITs

    and IIMs, who play a pivotal role in our quality assurance.

    About Aspire Trust UK

    The Aspire Trust is an Arts Education international business

    specialising in educational research, learning, ContinuingProfessional Development (CPD) and event management. We

    work across all educational phases from Early Years to Higher

    Education, and all art forms including music, dance, drama, ne

    arts and lm across the UK. We also have active partnerships

    with artists, teachers and organizations from across the world.

    The Trust was shortlisted in 2009 for a Liverpool Daily Post /

    Liverpool John Moores University Knowledge Business of the

    Year Award. It has organized several international conferences

    in recent years with partners such as National MuseumsLiverpool; Liverpool Hope University, Chaturangan Dance

    Company; and FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative

    Technology) Liverpool.

    ALL OUR FUTURES - 2Developing Schools in Turbulent Times

    Premise

    The nature of secondary education is rapidly changing acrossthe world. New curricula and new approaches to teaching and

    earning; the changing social conditions which children and

    young people are growing up within; the technical and

    environmental challenges we all face, all produce extraordinary

    pressures on the values, purposes and role of secondary

    education. This is as true for schools in urbanized inner cities as

    t for those in wealthy neighborhoods or those in remote, rural

    communities.

    Introduction

    All Our Futures - 2 is the second conference for Principals and

    Head Teachers of secondary schools around the globe. AOF -1

    examined the dicult national climates and pressures on

    secondary education and identied the ways in which

    secondary schools have identied local solutions to

    those pressures.

    This conference aims to put forward the international pedagogy

    and education practices being applied at various levels in

    school. The aim of All Our Futures - 2 is to provide hands on

    experience of international education practices to delegates

    and to facilitate the exchange process between schools of

    dierent countries participating in the conference.

    Content of the Conference:

    a. The Role of Head Teacher: New Approaches to School

    Leadership

    b. The Role of the School Manager: New Administrative

    Systems and Processes

    c. The Role of the Teacher: New Approaches to Curricula,

    Pedagogy and Assessment

    the local context.

    Delegates were taken to their host schools, where they met

    teachers and pupils, observed classes and discussed the

    observations made during the school visits planned for future

    faculty/student exchanges.

    Boarding ight from Indira Gandhi International Airport,

    New Delhi, India.

    18th /19th June:

    Return ight from Heathrow International Airport, UK.

    Accommodation at Hull, Yorkshire.Note: Single occupancy rooms can be arranged, on request of

    an individual (if available) at extra cost.

    Fee Structure:A. Conference Fee

    For Indian participants ` 65,000/- only

    For international participants US $ 1650 only

    The fees would include the following:

    1. Accommodation at Hull during the conference

    2. Transport for visiting the local schools

    3. Transport from accommodation to the conference venue

    4. Faculty fee, course materials, stationery and working

    breakfast/lunch/tea/cofee during the conference

    5. Conference reception on Day 1.

    (Note: The fees do not include the optional excursion trips in

    the evenings and to London).

    B. Airfare

    You may book your travel directly or through our travel partner,

    which will be as per actuals, which includes:

    1. The economy class airfare with current applicable taxes from

    IGI airport, New Delhi to Heathrow airport and back

    2. Transport from Heathrow to University of Hull and back

    3. Airport transfers, travel insurance and visa assistance.

    (Note: It does not include the visa fee which is around 5000 for

    those who do not have UK visa).

    (Note: The airfare has been negotiated on the basis of group

    discount and is subject to increase after the last date of

    registration).

    The delegates can opt to travel with the group, in which

    case they should report at IGI Airport, New Delhi on

    11th/12th June 2011. If they choose to travel on their own,

    they should report directly to The University of Hull,

    Yorkshire, UK by 13th June 2011.

    Last Date of Registration

    10 May, 2011.Cheque/demand draft to be made in favour of EduExcellence

    Educational Society payable at New Delhi.

    The visa procedure will be initiated once the duly lled

    registration form along with the cheque/demand draft are

    received by us.
