The shop is bustling with like minded people taking classes and sharing social time right now…join in on some of the fun in our warm and friendly environment…shoppers always seem to enjoy a shop full of happy people too. This week I finished another afghan on those big giant needles and started another…can you guess the team colors for this one??? So many different color combinations can be created. And I finished up Callen’s Christmas stocking too. Those were not traveling projects so before my last weekend away I started a chevron cowl using Road to China for my daughter for Christmas…I’m loving this yarn! It’s the season when our hands never stop working, usually on quicker projects and it’s such a good feeling to see something we created on another person that we love…or to wear ourselves!

The days are getting shorter and colder…with the darkness in the mornings, rolling out of bed is harder too…this weekend is Halloween, fun times for kids and we turn the clocks back by an hour and then there will be more light in the am…however, if it was my choice I would have day light savings time all year long…oh and old man winter I hope you stay away for at least another month!

Mock Cable Hat…

Paula helped Wednesday morning Pat create a matching beanie style hat pattern to go along with a boot topper pattern we created three season’a ago.

Both patterns are now available at the shop with purchase for free.

Pat used Ravelry Red color way from Malabrigo Rios and Paula used Madelinetosh Vintage for the green hat. This hat is also easily adaptable for smaller and larger sizes. Another quick and easy project.

Below are the newest from Yarn Pop totes…a perfect size tote bag with pockets on the inside to hold skeins of yarn…and a good Christmas gift too!

Wish List Box…we have a wish list box with cards for you to list what you would like as a gift…it makes shopping much easier on your loved one’s!!!
