We had our book fair from November 17, 2014 to November 21, 2014. We also have our November Thanksgiving Food Pantry. We had our Thanksgiving luncheon on November 20, 2014, all parents were invited to come. Things to look forward to in the coming months are our Winter Concert on December 16th and the 5th grade Wax Museum in late February or March.

WHO IS HARRY HOUDINI? The first book I will be talking about is “Who Is Harry Houdini”. The book is about his life. A couple of things I liked about the book is they tell you how he did all of his tricks! One chapter showed you how to do

the tricks. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

REVENGE OF THE FLOWER GIRLS

The second book I would like to talk about is “Revenge of the Flower Girls”. The book is about 3 triplets that have an older sister who is getting married to a guy that the sisters don’t like. They wish that their sister still had her other boyfriend. So they try to come up with a plan to stop the wedding. I would give this book 3 out of 5 stars

EDWARD’S EYES

The final book that I will be talking about is “Edward’s Eyes”. The book is aobut a boy that acted older than he really was. He is alwo really kind because he learned how to throw a knuckle ball for his friend’s birthday. At the end of the book, tragedy strikes the family.

Smoke rises from a blaze in El Portal, California near Yosemite National park. Fire crews gained ground on two of the largest wildfires in California. Lifting evacuation orders for about half the homes in the path of the blaze. They are redeploying fire fighters battling another fire in the Sierra.

BIG BEN GOES BOOM

By Ryan Jackson, Christian Rivero, and Jeremiah Wojenski The Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger had the best game of his career on Sunday in October, throwing over 500 yards, 6 touchdowns and no interceptions! This season Ben Roethlisberger has 16 TDS in October and just 3 interceptions. Quite frankly, the New York Jets quarterback throws 3 interceptions a game! Lots of people benched Big Ben in fantasy, it was a big blow to lots of teams. Luckily, he has amazing Antonia Brown and Health Miller to help hi out!

The most streamed song in the U.S. and global is “dark horse” by Katy Perry. It has 142,666,577 streams globally. I would never think any song could have that many streams! The number one music video so far is “like a rolling stone” by Bob Dylan. The number of views for this hit is 8,925,254. This may not beat the global streams for “dark horse” but I believe it may be a great video. The most listened to performer in New Jersey is Bruce Springsteen. His number one hit song is “born to run”. I have never heard this song before, but I feel it is a great one!

C.J. Spiller is currently diagnosed with a broken collarbone during week seven of the NFL schedule when the Bills matched u against the Vikings. This is a big blow to the Buffalo Bills offense. Just to throw out there, Fred Jackson and other key players were injured. This is a big blow to the Bills playoff hopes. The last time the Buffalo Bills made the playoffs was in 1999! If you ar wondering how he got hurt, during a 53 yard run, he got tackled and landed straight on his collarbone. He will be out for the season and most likely be traded in free agency this year. Don’t stress Buffalo fans. Fred Jackson is coming back soon. Hopefully, Fred Jackson can step up. He is coming back week 16 at Oakland. Spiller had surgery Monday to fix the broken collarbone.
