    Dear Reader,

I am going to get straight to the point, do

me a favor and tell all the noise in your head to BE

QUIET! Typically when I hear people say noise

its not a good thing and neither are the thoughts

in your head that are telling you not to move

forward and become all that you are supposed to

doing it, I know that you feel alone sometimes,

and I know its overwhelming, but can I challenge

    RE-WORD ME

P is or PURPOSE RE-WORD ME

~ By Stephanie BanceMy faith has been tested in many forms. In ended relationships, changing homes and changing churches. In most o

these changes I was scared of the future and what my life would be like after all had taken place. I knew there was

purpose, but believing in that was difficult. I feared the thoughts of people. I knew they didn't agree with the choices

made with my life. My faith and what I had known it to be had dwindled away.

I laid on my couch an entire day. I literally watched the hours go by. Drowning in my fears not wanting to face m

insecurities, I watched T.V. I mumbled words off and on of what I called prayer, but really I was down in spirit. I ha

no strength to lift myself up. I caught up on my recorded series of Greys anatomy. In the show Miranda was teachin

her interns and preparing them for a patient who would need special attention. She then took a marker and wrote bi

and bold the word RE-ACTION. I sat up in my seat. I don't think I noticed before, but I then realized I had seen fou

other RE" words like it. I wondered what the relation between the words was and I got to looking them up. Aft

reading the Re" Prefix was an attachment in front or b efore a word and a return to a previous condition. I the

thought girl you're crazy" go and watch your show.

Miranda was teaching her interns that their reaction to the patients condition was important and that if they criticize

or looked down on them they would be taken off the project. My mind began reflecting on the people who saw an

criticized my condition, not knowing the pain I was feeling. I couldn't get away dismissing this for too long. It wa

becoming unreal to me, so I went to my bible and looked up anything I could find. That's when I found Hebrews 11

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the WORD of God, so that things which are SEEN we

NOT made of things which do APPEAR.

That's what I needed. I needed God to Re-word my life. I needed God to RE-act by responding to my situation.

needed him to Re-claim me by bringing me back to proper course. RE-balance by redirecting and aligning me in h

will. I needed him to RE-define me by reexamining his design and refreshing my mind. I prayed God Give word to th

things people saw and labeled me by that is NOT what I will become. RE-word my destiny so that what is seen w

NOT appear to be such cause I am what you say I am!!! I am a chosen generation. I am a generation who has acces

power, & strength. Help me to remember that there is pain in purpose, but that I am more than a conqueror. Attac

your word to my life and place me back in the place you intended for me to be.

Throughout the years Stephanie served as a youth leader, assistant youth choir director, district youth

secretary and youth committee member for the United Pentecostal Church. As she grew closer to the

Lord, God directed her to Mt. Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church a member of the Pentecostal

Assemblies of the World, under the leadership of Suff. Bishop Roskco Motes where she currently

operates in ministry. On her spare time she writes encouraging notes and blogs to uplift the lives of

many. She is a humble woman of God with greatness ahead of her. Her education consists of attending

Touro College to study Liberal Arts and then Indiana Bible College in which she majored in Music and

Minored in Biblical Studies. Full time she works as an Assistant Controller at a brokerage firm in New

York City. Stephanie is a mighty young woman of God seeking to forever have an eternal desire to

walk closer with the Lord, using all of her gifts and talents. She wants the Lord to say on that Day of

Judgment, Well done thy good and faithful servant.
