Along your journey, visit some of the village’s most well-known artisans of handcrafted jewellery, carpet weaving and pottery, where you can try your hand at skills passed down through many generations. Stop by the flour mill and the barber shop, where you can experience ‘champi’, a traditional Indian head massage.

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY TO AMARSAR

Take an early morning jeep ride through the serene Aravalli hills, across the sand dunes

to the small hillside village of Amarsar to visit Kalka Mata Mandir, a temple situated 500

metres above sea level. Kalka Mata is considered the Kul-Devi of Amarsar, attracting

worshippers from near and far who climb the 500 or steps to the temple to pray for

their wishes to be fulfilled. Enjoy the spectacular views from this setting, followed by

breakfast on the hills.

Follow the journey of milk from farm to fridge. Visit the award-winning Gavya Amul

Dairy, where you can learn about the entire process from the collection of milk from

high tea at ‘Chatri’ with panoramic views of the Aravalli hills.

style.
