    Programming History

I started as early as 3rd year high school in programming and we used Turbo BASIC in those days. They taught us

basic 2D graphics programming using lines, points, and circles. We were able to recreate 2D overview of a house

and cartoons. It was not enough for me so I bought a Turbo Basic book and expanded my knowledge. 2 years of

self-teaching, coding and testing, I was able to create my own applications. I created my own HEX Editor, 16 bit

Icon Editor, WAV Graph Loader, animations, 2D games, then moved on to 3D programming and I created my own

3D wireframe shooting game, memory resident viruses, and anti-virus. I did not only concentrated on

programming in Turbo BASIC but I also concentrated on creating some BATCH scripts in MS-DOS to have my own

customized menus every time I boot up in DOS.

Years of productivity in programming, I moved on to Visual Basic 6 so I can create applications for Windows. It was

a very smooth transition moving to other BASIC programming language. I was able to create even more applications

easily, from multimedia Tools and Management, School Applications, Teaching aid, Hotel, Client/Server applications

for Internet Cafe and School Administration, Programming Tools and Code Managements, CD Rental and Book

Library Management. I also learned to create my own Class Libraries, Modules, and User Controls in my projects and

I was way advance in programming class.

I studied even further about programming so I thought myself in HTML, CSS, and VB Script and then studied ASP

with .MDB Database, Flash, and Java Script and created my own web site, hosted in 1asphost. Then I was confident

and capable enough, I started accepting clients to make Web and Desktop applications.

Years of programming in VB6 and ASP, the .NET technology was introduced. I chose Visual Basic .NET so I can easily

adjust to a new programming environment, but it was not easy as I thought but I was still able create applications

such as FTP Downloader with pause and resume capabilities and multi-threaded downloader.

I have finally decided to stop in BASIC and moved on to C#. This is because a company I worked on requires a C#

developer. They trusted on my capabilities and hired me and they allow me to learn C#. It was a very big leap of

knowledge of programming since I get used to BASIC languages. It was a crash-course for me but the experience was

great. I later studied new technologies such as: ASP.NET and then expanded my knowledge in Javascript, SQL Server,

MySQL, SQLite, PHP, Web Services, WCF, WPF, jQuery, Windows Mobile, Windows Phone, Windows 8, and HTML5.

And for the past years of programming. I have made tons of great free applications, solutions, and tutorials and you

can find some at my website http://jaysonsblog.azurewebsites.net

Windows Mobile Research and Development I have started developing Windows Mobile applications back in 2011 starting from version 6 to 6.5.3 but most of

my applications are written for 6.5.3. Windows Mobile applications uses .NET Compact framework and codes are

written in C# using Visual Studio 2008. Here are some of my applications I made for this technology and mostly are

for customization. I also have code blogs about .NET Compact Framework

    JSPA Program Manager

    August 2009

Having too many installed applications can sometimes lead to a mess with all the application shortcuts are stored

in one folder. JSPA Program Manager helps you to organize the shortcuts and lets you create folder, move, copy,

delete, rename, add new shortcut, and finger friendly. Made for WM6, 6.1, and 6.5

Published in: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=547618 and many other WM download site.

    NETCFOpenFileDialog

    August 2009

While developing the JSPA Program Manager, I also developed this reusable control to navigate in

folders and select files. This is a desktop equivalent of Open File Dialog shown on the 2nd picture.

    NETCFFolderDialog

    August 2009

Heres another control I wrote for JSPA Program Manager which is used to select folder. This is a

desktop equivalent of Folder Dialog component.

    May 2010

The start of Windows Phone era, this is a start menu replacement inspired from Windows Phone program list. It

features a quick jump on application name through dragging on a letter slider or tapping on a letter that will

bring up the Letter Pad. This application also uses alpha blending to draw a custom shape icon and kinetic

    scrolling.

  • Rsum Update: July 23, 2015 Neko for Windows Mobile 6.5

    June 2010

Neko was originally developed for Macintosh then later ported in Windows 3.1 and with many other platforms.

    Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neko_%28computer_program%29

This demonstrates PInvokes such as LayaredWindow and Cursor in Windows Mobile 6.5 to have a custom shape

form and detect touch locations. You can also customize animation, size, and change the character by importing a

    custom sprite.

    JWMD Wiba UI

    March 2011

WibaUI is a custom user interface I made for Windows Mobile 6.5. The user interface was Windows Phone inspired

where you can have a start menu tiles which I call a Widget that can have a custom behavior depends on how it

was written., and a short cut tile for launching an application which shows a static image of the application icon.

You can also drag and drop the tiles on the screen, resize, or remove. You can install a widget plugin. I put

everything I know in Windows Mobile 6.5 in this custom user interface like alpha blending, IImagingFactory in

WindowsMobile 6.5, Registry, kinetic scrolling, activating a DLL in runtime, PInvokes in coredll.dll, and SQLite.

Project discontinued and moved on to Windows Phone.

After much learning in Windows Mobile 6.5.x, My last research & development was to create my own custom ROM

for Windows Mobile. ROM Is the term used for the operating system in mobile devices. Based on Windows Mobile

6.5.1, my custom ROM has many interface customization, from boot up, to HTC Sense. It has a custom Weather UI,

Icons, Start Menu column, keyboard interface, and most of my application built for Windows Mobile are integrated
