How ALaRMS™ meets multiple training standards. ALaRMS is a fully integrated training management system that was designed to meet any training standard that follows the core principals of Instructional Systems Design and Systems Approach to Training methods.

The core of the ALaRMS application is build on the widely used ADDIE process, with a standardised digital framework that mirrors this. Fully configurable tools are then added to this framework to allow ALaRMS to reflect the nuances of independent global and national standards. Examples of these include the UK Ministry of Defence DSAT QMS, the Australian Department of Defence SADL, the Canadian Forces CFITES or the Aerospace and Defence S6000T Standard.

The technology behind ALaRMS allows for quick configuration to meet the client organisation’s exact requirements.

Real life examples of where ALaRMS is delivering improved training management practices are the UK Ministry of Defence (DSAT Standard) and Australian Department of Defence (SADL Standard). The latter is due for live use in summer 2021.

The development of materials is completed on external software. This material is then delivered to the student and instructor through the ALaRMS Delivery Module.

Configuration added to meet the nuances of specific standards or internal customer needs before implementation or through life.

The ALaRMS Assurance Module builds on traditional evaluation needs, offering a fully digitised suite for internal and external evaluation, audit, analytics and risk management.

The phases that are circled in grey represent tasks that are either (1) completed outside of the ALaRMS system (but may do so using the data and outputs from ALaRMS) or (2) are written documents that would utilise the data and processes provided by ALaRMS as support material. Please note that written documents (such as the Training Situation Analysis Report or Training Strategy) can be added as templates within ALaRMS with full version control and linked supporting data should this be required. Those items that are not circled identify development tasks we recommend are completed with specialist content development tools.
