    UAB plays at Legion Field, AAMU is no strang-er to Legion Field. A&M is one of two teams that plays in the Magic City Classic in Birmingham.

    Quarterback Brandon Wells played the first half and most of the fourth quarter in his first Magic City Classic. The redshirt-sophomore completed three passes on 10 attempts for 27 yards and a TD. He also rushed for 10 yards vs. Alabama St. Against Southern University, he was 13 of 27 for 129 yards with a pick and a TD. He also rushed for 34 yards on 16 carries. He started his fourth contest of his career and finished 3 of 16 for 56 yards and 4 interceptions vs. Valley on Homecoming. Wells came into the fourth quarter vs. Texas Southern and ran in the winning TD to give the Bulldogs a 12-10 win. He also completed a pass on third and 6 to set up the go-ahead touchdown. He began his career as the starting quarterback at A&M with a 23-9 win over Grambling State. Wells finished 15 for 28 with two touchdowns and an interception. Versus Tuskegee Wells went 18-37 for 217 yards. He also totaled 35 yards on 10 carries. Likely his worst game, Wells went 1 for 3 with two interceptions vs. South Carolina State.

    Jaymason Lee went 16 of 29 for a season high 349 yards and 3 TDs vs Arkansas-Pine Bluff for his second win as a starter. Against Jackson State, he was 10 of 29 for 195 yards and 2 TDs. He once again came in and led the team to their first TD of the game on four plays. He went 11 for 20 for 150 yards and 3 TDs vs. Alcorn. Lee came into his first contest vs. Alabama St. in the second half and finished 10 of 22 for 153 yards and an interception. He started his second game vs. Texas Southern but was knocked out after going 9 of 23 for 90 yards and a touchdown. He started his first Division I contest and finished 15 of 28 for 224 yards and two touchdowns vs. Prairie View A&M. Lee made his Division I debut when he came into the con-test vs. SCSU after Wells was injured. He finished the game 13 for 33 for 187 yards.

    Running back Brandon Eldemire finished with five carries for 65 yards vs. Alcorn. Eldemire rushed for 58 yards on 10 carries vs. Alabama State. He carried the ball 15 times for 89 yards leading A&M against Southern. The Miami, Fla. native rushed the ball 10 times and earned 57 yards and the only touchdown vs. MVSU. Eldemire carried the ball for 83 yards on 6 carries and a score. He posted a long rush of 64 yards for the TD vs. TSU. He enjoyed his best game in the Maroon & White totaling 154 yards and a TD on 9 carries vs. PVAMU. He was recognized by the College Football Performance Awards for his accomplish-ments. He carried the ball once for six yards vs. SCSU. He rushed for 21 yards on 10 carries after starting his first contest of the year. His longest was 12 yards while he averaged 2.1 per carry. Eldemire finished with 10 yards on five carries vs. TU. He has collected 548 yards on 71 carries with three touchdowns. He is averaging 7.7 yards a carry.

    Wide Receiver Montaurius Smith collected 7 passes for 114 yards and a TD vs. UAPB. Against Jackson State, he caught 5 passes for 124 yards and 2 TDs for season highs in yards and receptions. He finished with 5 catches for 81 yards. against Alcorn State Smith caught 4 passes for 58 yards and the lone TD in the MCC. He collected 7 receptions for 82 yards vs. SU. The red-shirt junior led the team for the fourth straight week with 7 receptions for 53 yards vs. TSU. The Birmingham native secured his first 100 yard receiving game vs. PV with seven catches. He once again led the team with 4 catches for 68 yards vs. South
