DMAIC and A3 Projects

Successfully Completed a project “OLE IMPROVEMENT AND CAPACITY ENHANCEMENT” FOR MYBOX WorkCell.

OLE improved from 35% to 55%. Production line capacity improved from 120k per

month to 168k per month. Eliminated 16 DL headcounts from production line

giving a hard saving of $3632 per month.

Implemented Ergonomic designed workstations with concept of one man assembly For “Bezel Assembly” of Set-Top box in ECHOSTAR WorkCell.

Utilization of less shop floor space. Reduction in number of Trolleys and trays.

Implemented “Roller Table concept” for movement of Master cartons for MYBOX WorkCell.

Reduction in operator fatigue. Eliminating risk of Master carton drop age by

operator.

Implemented “Flexibe Layout” eliminating WIP

structures for MYBOX WorkCell. Ergonomic index improved. Elimintated Zig-Zag flow.

Lean six sigma Passed the Bronze certification examination of “Lean Six

Sigma” with 94% of marks. Successful completed various kaizens, A3 & DMAIC projects.

Ongoing Projects:

Warehouse space optimization. Aims for 33% reduction in space utilization. Min-Max concept for JIT materials.

Head count optimization Via process optimization: Aims in eliminating 30 headcounts from production line. Hard saving of around $7350 per month.
