PresenterPresentation NotesMapping Process can be roughly classified as three tasks of Field Survey, Aerial Survey and Map Production.I would like to explain how is related work among these three sectors. The field sector is responsible to observe the ground control point and leveling process to obtain the spherical(so called latitude and longitude) or Cartesian (so called Easting, Northing ) coordinates and mean sea level height.Aerial Survey Sector undertakes aerial photography task and photogrammetric task for the plotting of topographical maps.The photogrammetrists are in charge of photo processing, aerial triangulation adjustment and 3d geospatial data capture process by using the ground control points observed by field sectors. The raw data of the geospatial features are transfer to map production sector to fulfill spatial data information like the name of city, the name of road and so on. And also this sector makes the marginal information and color separation process for the production the maps. The printing of the maps are done by using printing machines.
